Chelsea is a tall, long doe with lots of width throughout. She was a lovely kid placing at or near the top of her class at local shows and was the 16th place Senior Kid at the 2004 National Show. Chelsea was the first of our Mauser daughters to freshen and we are quite pleased. Her mammary is well attached, snug into the escutcheon with a lovely fore udder.
As a second freshener, Chelsea matured quite a bit though she freshened with a bit of a bug in her udder and was a bit uneven most of the year. She still showed well placing 4x first. We dry treated her and things cleared up for her third lactation. Chelsea placed at or near the top of her class each time shown. Chelsea freshened even better as a 4 year old and was 2X GCH at the first show of the season. Unfortunately, she became light on one side again and just wasn't able to compete the rest of show season, so we left her home.
We have treated her with QuarterMaster and she dried up beautifully. Chelsea freshened on April 13th with 2 bucks and so far, her udder looks great. We'll keep our fingers crossed she stays that way for show season...
