        Kiana is larger than her littermate, Klarissa, and wider throughout. She's not quite as dairy but she can milk, when she chooses to. 2006 was one of those years. Needing to get a final appraisal score on her (note: she was 7) my threats finally must have gotten through to Kiana (more likely she was protesting the "no grain" fat pen) and her tests were consistently 10lbs. Unfortunately, I did not get any photos of her.
        Her daughter Kira, by Mauser, freshened with a very well attached mammary. Kiana was bred to Gunner for April kids but did not freshen in 2007. We have bred her to Gunner again and we'll keep our fingers crossed, even for just a single....
